2. Crisis/Incident Management
Aim:
To train business continuity practitioners or members of incident management teams to rapidly intervene in order to stabilise disruptions.
Approach:
This is a highly practical and interactive incident (crisis) management course. The final rehearsal will be recorded for reference. A set of incident management documents will be issued as part of the course.
- The differences in scale, time and co-ordination between incident management, continuity and recovery.
- Selection and training of teams, deputies and venues.
- Command control and communications.
- Generic crisis issues HR, PR, FM, IT, Ops and co-ordination with others.
- Documentation and administration.
- Technology, communication and software tools and techniques
- Before, during and after a crisis exercise
- Case studies and debriefing
