Aim:
To train business continuity or IT practitioners to define, implement and manage disaster recovery in their organisations.
Approach:
This is a highly practical and interactive course on the technical aspects of business continuity management. There will be exercises and a set of documentation will be issued as part of the course.

- IT Disaster recovery concepts, tools and techniques.
- Definitions and specifications for DR contracts.
- Analysing the needs of the operation to set timescales, priorities, sequences and alternatives.
- What is cost effective, scaleable and appropriate?
- Resilience, redundancy, planning and testing.
- Confidentiality, integrity and availability options.
- Power, connectivity, external infrastructure, outsourcing and globalisation.
