8. Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
Aim:
To train business continuity practitioners to conduct business impact analysis in order to achieve agreement on priorities, sequences of recovery by presenting results in a clear and concise format.
Approach:
This is a highly practical and interactive course. The course content will enable students to be able to facilitate the data gathering and subsequent intellectual process to make judgements about what is time critical by decision makers.

- What are the reasons why recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives can be as much help as hindrance?
- Making the BIA process simple and effective.
- Tools and techniques to do “BIA in a day”.
